Project Manager III, IT (Hybrid)

NorthBay Health Fairfield, CA (Hybrid) Full-Time

At NorthBay Health, the IT Project Manager III position is a senior level project manager, reporting to the AVP, IT Applications. This individual plays a critical leadership role in the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional healthcare IT projects and the strategic management of a project portfolio of IT projects that support clinical, operational, and technology goals. This individual will also be responsible for mentoring junior project managers, assigning projects based on capacity and complexity, and ensuring portfolio alignment with organizational priorities. This role requires deep healthcare domain knowledge, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.

  1. Education:  Bachelors Required, Masters Preferred.
  2. Licensure/Certification: PMP, PMI-ACP, or other relevant project management certification required. Epic certifications highly preferred. 
  3. Experience: Minium of 8 years’ experience in project management and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare. 
  4. Skills: Requires excellent communication and presentation skills. Must demonstrate organizational agility and political acumen. Core competencies include strategic project portfolio oversight, complex project execution, mentorship, team leadership and stakeholder relationship management. 
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates the True North values.   6. Hours of Work: Normally works eight-hour day.  Hours will vary according to work demands and project requirements. 
  7. Compensation: $72 to $88 based on years of experience doing the duties of the role.
