Limited License Rad Tech, Dixon Urgent Care (Per Diem, Float Pool)
At NorthBay Health the Limited License Rad Tech works under the supervision of the Urgent Care Manager with oversight by the Solano Diagnostics Imaging Manager. This position performs x-ray procedures, limited to the scope of certification, by applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis at technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Demonstrates the ability to meet the needs and provide service to all age groups-infancy through geriatrics. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.
Education: High school graduate preferred. Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.
Licensure/Certification: California Limited License required, Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required.
Experience: One or more years of experience in general radiology preferred.
Skills: Basic clerical and computer experience.

Hours of Work: Variable. Days and evenings, including weekends. Expected to work every other weekend. May be scheduled at any of the Urgent Care locations with radiology equipment.
Compensation: $35.90 to $ 40.33 hourly. The listed rate is inclusive of per diem differential , Max rate is commensurate of 20+ years experience.

Compensation Structure
NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.

NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.
