Executive Assistant - Hospital Group

Full Time, FTE: 1; 
NorthBay Medical Center
Fairfield, CA

**Position does work onsite in Solano County, California**

 

Job Summary:

At NorthBay Healthcare the Executive Assistant performs a wide range of advanced executive and administrative functions in support of the President, NorthBay Healthcare Group and to the NorthBay Healthcare Group Board of Directors.  This includes managing activities, and working efficiently, collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision. This Executive Assistant has direct and frequent interaction with physicians and staff is required to integrate multiple priorities with multiple interactions.  This includes but is not limited to: compliance with corporate, regulatory and professional standards and fostering of interdisciplinary, while building collaborative relationships among all staff.



 Education: 

1. High school graduate or equivalent. 
2. College or business school preferred. 
3. Courses in business English, typing, and transcribing.

Licensure:  None required.

Experience: 

1. Minimum of 5 years prior executive secretarial or executive assistant  experience in healthcare with demonstrated organizational and progressive  leadership skills. 

Skills: 

1. Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
2. Excellent writing skills, editing skills and attention to detail.
3. Sound judgment and ability to think, act and make decisions independently.
4. Strong public relations and organizational skills necessary.
5. Excellent knowledge of word processing, computer graphics and spreadsheet software(s).
