Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Hospitals
At NorthBay Health, this manager is responsible for the administrative direction of Diagnostic Imaging operations at multiple sites. These modalities include: Interventional Radiology, Radiography/Fluoroscopy, Intra-Op Imaging, and Nuclear Medicine. These responsibilities include the smooth and efficient throughput of patients during their care, including the efficient utilization of resources, the elimination of barriers to care delivery, and high patient satisfaction with the NorthBay Health TRUE NORTH. This manager is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of and complying with all applicable laws, rules and regulations from CMS and CDPH, and the accreditation standards governing the provision of diagnostic imaging services. The manager is accountable for the direct supervision of the supervisors, all technologists and support staff. This manager is also responsible for coordinating with the Director to manage the Imaging departments’ financial performance which includes revenue and expense management.
This individual is responsible and accountable for all aspects of Diagnostics Imaging’s operational endeavors.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Provides leadership and direction and sustains an environment that supports excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care through assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programs and standards that support positive patient care outcomes.
Maintains positive and effective working relationships with radiologists; Works closely with other members of the medical staff and community-based physicians to ensure that Diagnostic Imaging is meeting their needs.
Holds the responsibility for a staffing plan, including appropriate number and skill mix, recruitment and retention, evaluating, counseling, educating, and terminating, when necessary, with an emphasis on staff competency
Participates in strategic planning relative to areas of responsibility.
Education: Baccalaureate Degree in healthcare or business-related field.
License/Certification: Must possesses in one of the disciplines of Diagnostic Imaging (CRT, ARRT, CRTNM or ARDMS).
Experience: Three to five years of demonstrated progressive supervisory or management experience with increasing scope of responsibility in a diagnostic imaging environment required.
Skills: Demonstrated initiative, follow through and ability to work independently. Demonstrated results-oriented management style. Demonstrated effective project management skills. Excellent interpersonal, judgment and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. The ability to deal with job-related stress, multiple projects and deadlines is required. Advanced computer skills desirable. Must be able to work in one area of the hospital. This individual must be fiscally responsible, be able to take on new responsibilities as needed, be able to accept accountability and operate effectively under pressure, display confidence and integrity in all interactions.

Compensation: $197k to $207k based on years of experience doing to duties of the role. Annual bonus dependent on system and team performance.
