Limited License Rad Tech , Urgent Care (Full Time, Days)

NorthBay Health American Canyon, CA (Onsite) Full-Time

At NorthBay Health the Limited License Rad Tech will work under the supervision of the Urgent Care Manager with oversight by the Solano Diagnostics Imaging Manager. This position performs x-ray procedures, limited to the scope of certification, by applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis at technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Demonstrates the ability to meet the needs and provide service to all age groups-infancy through geriatrics. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.

Education:  High school graduate preferred.  Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.

Licensure/Certification: California Limited License required, Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required.

Experience:  One or more years of experience in general radiology preferred.

Skills:  Basic clerical and computer experience.

Interpersonal Skills:  Demonstrates NorthBay's values and true north of nurturing care, own it, respect relationships, build trust, hardwire excellence.

Hours of Work: Variable. Days and evenings, including weekends.  Expected to work every other weekend. May be scheduled at any of the Urgent Care locations with radiology equipment.

Compensation:  $32.00  to $39.00 per hour based on experience, Max rate is commensurate of 20+ years as a Limited Licensed rad Tech
