Vice President, Revenue Cycle Services (On-Site)
At NorthBay Health the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services will oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle management process, ensuring the organization maximizes revenue while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency. This role will lead strategic initiatives to enhance revenue cycle performance, improve patient billing experiences, and drive overall financial health, overseeing the following areas of responsibility:
- Health Information Management
- Revenue Integrity
- Inpatient and Outpatient Financial Services
- Hospital Patient Access
- Financial Counseling and Insurance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree highly preferred.
- Licensure: None
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in a healthcare setting with extensive Revenue Cycle experience, including at least 10 years in a leadership role within a healthcare setting. Knowledge of business acumen and EMR experience required. Comprehensive knowledge of Revenue Cycle operations and reimbursement principles, and of federal and state compliance regulations, HIPAA, Title 22, The Joint Commission regulations and CMS Audit guidelines. Comprehensive knowledge of EHR applications pertinent to health information management and computerized data repository functions required. Specific experience with either Cerner Millennium and EPIC Systems is required, experience with both is preferred. Proven track record of driving revenue cycle performance improvements and managing cross-functional teams.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must possess teaching ability, leadership ability, and high professional standards. Must be well organized, be able to set priorities, work independently and is an effective team member. Word Processing skills required. Demonstrated ability to engender confidence and trust. Fluent in project management, change management and process improvement methods. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated facilitation, conflict resolution, presentation and problem-solving skills. Experience with computerized HIM, Encoder and data repository functions.

- Compensation: $280K - $330K annually, based on years of experience at Vice President level in this role.
