Supervisor, Cardiopulmonary Rehab
At NorthBay Health the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of NorthBay Health’s cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program, including patient care coordination, staff supervision, quality improvement initiatives, program development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, professional, and accreditation standards, while collaborating closely with the Manager of Cardiology Services to deliver high-quality patient care.
The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Supervisor is responsible for supervising, directing, coaching and mentoring staff under the supervision of the Manager of Cardiology Services. This role requires demonstration of leadership, clinical, and interpersonal skills. The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Supervisor collaborates with the manager on clinical and non-clinical operations related to the department. This role has a focus on the culture of excellent patient and family experience and practice environment.
The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Supervisor has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, excellent patient care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the organization, Patient Care Services Division. Utilizes Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional practice model to support the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science required
Licensure:
- Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS.
- Related National Certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience in area of specialty required.
- One-year supervisory experience preferred.
- Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) – American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Professional Certification Commission (AACVPR) or related certification preferred and required within 1 year of hire.
Skills:
- Demonstrated clinical experience in the specific department area.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses teaching ability, leadership ability, and high professional standards.
- Well organized, be able to set priorities work independently and be an effective team member.
Physical Effort:
- Performs all physical duties of the job. Requires lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor skills.
- Completion of annual organizational requirements for employment (TB Testing, Safety Training, Patient Safety Training, mandatory in-services, etc.).
Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range $51.29 – $62.35 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
