Ambulatory HIM Support Representative (On-Site)
At NorthBay Health the Ambulatory HIM Support Representative will perform functions in support of the Ambulatory practices as they relate to patient medical records and the need for maintaining reasonable continuity of care. Performs medical record reviews, accurately updates patient information in the medical record and assists with managing the data integrity of the medical record.

Education:
- AA degree is preferred, or completion of some college courses in Health Information Management and/or Medical Assisting certificate preferred, or other related experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a heath care related setting
- 3 years preferred
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and comprehensive knowledge of state and federal chart completion and release of information requirements.
- Knowledge of and experience with personal computers and computer systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others in complying with policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
- Past experience with electronic medical records (i.e. Cerner applications or equivalent systems) required

Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range Min $23.98 - Max $29.19 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
