Clinical Nurse II - Cardiac Rehab (Per Diem, Day)
At NorthBay Health the Registered Nurse on the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit you will provide safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care to our patients following Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, the Relationship Based Care, and the NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all patients assigned to your care. You will also use a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient and their family along with your interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for the patient. Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing,
- Nursing degree of BSN level or higher is required. (excludes grandfathered employees)
License and Certifications:
- Valid, current and unencumbered RN license by the State of California.
- Current ACLS
- Telemetry certification within 3 months of employment and periodic renewal
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care with stepdown, progressive, telemetry or cardiac experience.
- One year of critical care experience preferred.
- One year of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Excellent teaching skills with individuals, groups and complex populations
- Adult and geriatric cardiac and pulmonary assessment
Other:

- All RNs in the Patient Care Services Department are required to wear Graphite (Dark Gray) colored scrubs per the professional appearance policy.
Work Hours:
- Total Hours: At least four (4) shifts each month, or more as determined by the department's per diem availability standard and process
- Shift: 8-hour shifts
Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range Min $85.98 - Max $103.68(Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
- 15% per diem differential included in salary range
