Project Coordinator-Patient Care Services

NorthBay Health Fairfield, CA (Onsite) Full-Time

At NorthBay Health, the Project Coordinator for the Clinical Education, Magnet Program and Patient Care Services (PCS) Division plays a key role in supporting project management activities and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the department. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing project-related activities, supporting team members, organizing resources, and maintaining documentation for ongoing clinical education and patient care initiatives. In addition to project coordination, this role includes general administrative support to aid division leaders and staff, such as scheduling, managing communications, and handling logistics. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and has a strong background in both project coordination and administrative support.

  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
  2. Licensure/Certification: N/A
  3. Experience:  Minimum 2 years preferred, 1 year of experience in healthcare industry and 2 years’ experience supporting projects, or equivalent.    
  4. Skills: Project management and analytical skills preferred. Knowledge of project management best practices and project management tools (such as project plans, status reports, and gantt charts) required. Proficient with technology and software program administration. Proficient with Microsoft suite of products, in particular MS PowerPoint and MS Excel required. Experience with MS project a plus.    
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Leadership, strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution, self-starter, works independently, organizes workload. Ability to effectively resolve complex issues simultaneously and escalate when appropriate.  The NorthBay Health set of value-based behaviors that are to be consistently demonstrated and role modeled by all employees that work at NorthBay Healthcare. 
  6. Physical Effort: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Minimal: Requires prolonged hours of standing and sitting and some walking.  Requires extensive use of telephone and computer keyboard.
  7. Hours of Work: 40 hours/week, flexible hours, may require evening or weekends.
  8. Compensation : $34.84 - $42.36 based on years of experience in role
