Environmental Svcs. Aide Lead (Full time, Evenings)
At NorthBay Health the Environmental Services Lead works under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisors, and at the direction of the Director. This position is responsible for providing daily staff leadership to facilitate the completion of assigned tasks and work assignments in accordance with municipal, county, state and federally mandated standards of safety, cleanliness and infection control.

- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: One (1) year janitorial experience in a hospital healthcare setting required. Proficiency with cleaning procedures and use of janitorial equipment for cleaning patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, general public spaces and floors is required. Experience with hospital waste disposal and Infection Prevention procedures is also required.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, peers, colleagues, patients and visitors. Able to follow complex instructions involving task lists and duties covering an assigned work period. The ability to problem-solve and lead staff in the application of department and facility training involving response to disaster and occurrences such as fire, earthquake, storm, flood, disaster, etc., as part of the active team of employees within the facility that assures continuation of required services and functions. Demonstrates the ability to organize and delegate assigned duties and tasks; respond to requests for service; and prioritize department expectations in order to accomplish regular and flex assignments within an assigned shift.

- Hours of Work: Varies, and the direction of the Supervisor or Manager.
- Compensation: Hourly range $27.13 - $32.98 ( Based on years of experience in role, Max rate listed is commensurate of 20+ years)
