Clinical Nurse Manager - 1600 Surgical/Telemetry Unit (Full Time, Day)
At NorthBay Health the Clinical Manager is a Registered Nurse who has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the clinical and operational management of the Acute Care 1600/1700 unit at North Bay Medical Center. The Clinical Manager’s role is to promote the provision of effective, high quality patient care to all patients. The following responsibilities are included: oversight of clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, management of human, fiscal and other resources, development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, and fostering of interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships within the assigned units and between other departments within the organization. He/she will seek and provide educational programs for staff which are pertinent to the patient population served, such as annual Telemetry Certification and medication safety initiatives.
The Clinical Manager works collaboratively with the Clinical Practice Manager, Organizational Development, Department Director, and other Clinical Managers to develop and validate the clinical competency of staff. The Clinical Manager collaborates with physicians in order to establish a collegial and interdisciplinary patient care environment.

Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required, Masters Degree preferred. One of the degrees must be in nursing.
Licensure:
- Current California RN License.
- Current AHA or equivalent BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Related National Certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience in a telemetry care setting, and Trauma experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience / training required.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in the Telemetry Care area.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Possesses teaching ability, leadership ability, and high professional standards.
- Must be well organized, be able to set priorities, work independently and is an effective team member.
- Word Processing and Excel skills required.
- Knowledge of regulatory processes required (TJC and Title 22).
Compensation and Benefits:
Budgeted salary range is $203K - $228K (Offered annual salary based on years of experience)
