Manager, Revenue Cycle Support and Cash Management

Job Summary
At NorthBay Health, the Manager, Revenue Cycle Support & Cash Management is responsible for the leadership, management, and operational performance of functions and teams supporting NorthBay joint revenue cycle operations, including cash management, correspondence scanning, customer service, self-pay/Single Billing Office (SBO) operations, revenue cycle system shared support services, and related workflows that span the full revenue cycle. The Manager ensures regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, strong financial performance, excellent patient financial experience, and collaboration between all revenue cycle teams and customers across all revenue cycle and SBO functions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Experience
Five (5) years of progressive experience in Patient Financial Services, Revenue Cycle, or Single Business Office operations.
Three (3) years demonstrated experience managing healthcare cash management/cash applications, preferably as a management of cash posting, cash applications, or similar role, in hospital, health system, or large (100+) physician group.
Three (3) years demonstrated experience in Epic revenue cycle back-end (cash management, billing, and/or follow-up)
Strong working knowledge of both Hospital Billing and Professional Billing revenue cycles.
Experience with healthcare billing systems and related reporting tools, including Epic.
Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a high-volume, patient-facing operational environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting patient billing, financial assistance, and cash handling.
Ability to partner effectively across clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
Certifications: HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within nine (9) months of hire.

Hours: Primarily Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
Compensation: $130k to $150k annually based on years of experience doing the duties of the role. Bonus eligible.

Compensation Structure
NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.
Remote Work Disclosure
NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.
Remote work is not supported in Washington, Ohio, Wyoming, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or outside of the United States.
