Pulmonary Function Specialist- NBMC Part Time

NorthBay Health Fairfield, CA (Onsite) Part-Time

At NorthBay Health the Pulmonary Function Specialist has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality pulmonary function testing according to the philosophy and goals/objectives, policies, procedures, guidelines and objectives of Pulmonary Care Services.  The RCP/PFT makes determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward goals and utilizes a therapeutic professional relationship with interdisciplinary team to facilitate the testing, maintenance, and restoration of health.  Care is provided according to the specific physiologic, developmental and psychosocial needs of the patient. Supports the mission, vision, values and expectations of excellence of the organization.

  1. Education: Graduate of an approved CoARC RCP Program.
  2. Licensure/Certification:  Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License by the state of California.  CRT required.  RRT required if hired after July 2017.  AHA or equivalent BLS certification required. CPFT/RPFT from the NBRC within 1 year of hire.  PFT certification preferred.
  3. Experience:  6 months post graduate experience. 1-year pulmonary function experience preferred.
  4.   7. Hours of Work: Based on business need.
  8. Other: Completion of annual organizational requirements for employment (TB testing, Safety training, mandatory in-services, etc.)

Compensation :

Hourly Salary Range Min $ 51.29- Max $  59.40         (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
